About The Role

As a Senior Backend Developer at Legentic, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our product to be more SaaS-oriented. You will engage in building features that address customer needs and implement them effectively. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing robust backend infrastructure and processes to handle large volumes of data and requests.
• Innovating ways to collect and integrate data to help our customers prevent fraud.
• Creating tools and practices to better understand customer requirements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Managing and developing search and storage engines, and creating meaningful interfaces.
• Mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

About You

We are looking for generalists with a passion for learning, rather than specialists in a single stack. Our team tackles interesting problems daily, and we need a Senior Backend Developer who can:

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Python
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with Django in production and other web frameworks like FastAPI
• Experience in working with AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud vendors
• Experience working with container orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• With a possibility to become a Team Lead of the Product Team based on the experience

Optional

• Knowledge of a second programming language as Typescript or others
• Knowledge of tools such as OpenSearch(ElasticSearch), ClickHouse
• BSc or MSc in computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar discipline
• Experience with data pipelines is a plus
• Sharing a GitHub profile with projects is a big plus
